Why LCash
Customer funds are held by our regulated payment partners, not on our books. Every action is protected by device-level biometrics and bank-grade encryption.
One clear fee per top-up and one FX rate you can see before you confirm. No hidden markup, no surprises at the end of the month.
Top up in minutes, spend the same second. No three-day settlement windows, no waiting for a bank manager to approve your dollar request.
Designed from day one for Nigerian and Kenyan users — local funding methods, mobile-first flows, and support that understands the context.
Hold actual dollars in your wallet, not a synthetic token. Spend them, save them, or pay international merchants directly from the app.
Your virtual card works at Netflix, AWS, Amazon, Steam, Spotify, and any merchant that accepts Visa or Mastercard — which is just about everywhere.
How it works
From download to first payment in minutes — no branches, no queues, no paperwork.
Create your account
Create your account in a few taps — phone number, email, and a short KYC check with NIN or national ID plus a selfie.
Fund your wallet from a Nigerian or Kenyan card, bank transfer, or M-Pesa. Your virtual card is issued instantly.
Recent transactions
Subscribe, shop, travel. Every payment lands in the exact amount the merchant expects — no Naira or Shilling declines.
Your USD balance, a virtual card ready for Netflix, AWS or Amazon, and every payment in one place.

Reviews
We’re in closed beta. Here’s what testers are telling us about paying for international services with a LCash card.
ChatGPT Plus, AWS and GitHub used to be a monthly lottery on my Naira card. With LCash I top up once, every renewal just clears, and I see the exact USD before I confirm.
Adobe, YouTube Premium and Spotify all auto-renewed on the LCash card without a single decline. One wallet, one rate — no more juggling workaround apps at the end of every month.
NIN and selfie, card issued, first Upwork payout landed in my USD balance the same evening. Next morning my ChatGPT Plus and iCloud both renewed first try. This is how fintech should feel.
Shopify, Amazon Prime, Netflix and Steam — my four biggest monthly bills all run off the same LCash card. First-try clearance, no evening of retries at month-end.
FAQ
Everything you need to know before the app goes live. Still have a question? Get in touch.
LCash is a mobile app that gives you a US dollar balance and a virtual Visa/Mastercard card. You can hold dollars, pay for international subscriptions, shop online globally, and send USD — all from your phone.
We're launching first in Nigeria and Kenya, with more African markets to follow. If your country isn't live yet, you can still download the app and join the waitlist from inside it.
Download LCash from the App Store or Google Play, enter your phone number and email, and complete a short KYC check (NIN or national ID + selfie). The whole flow typically takes a few minutes.
Yes. LCash itself is not a bank — we act as an authorized agent of our regulated payment providers, who hold customer funds and issue the USD card. Your money is kept with these regulated partners and never mixed with LCash company funds. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and we follow Nigeria's NDPA and Kenya's DPA for personal data.
We keep pricing simple and transparent — no hidden FX markups. See the full breakdown on the Fees page.
We're in the final stages of testing and submission to the App Store and Google Play. Check back here, or follow us on social, to be notified the moment it goes live.
We’re building something you can trust with your money. The app drops on the App Store and Google Play soon.
